JEMA

JEMA began as an inside joke with a close friend during secondary school, and has since evolved into a creative project where I transform thrifted clothing and fabrics into entirely new pieces.

While I often work on joggers — inspired by pieces I wear frequently for dance — the project spans a variety of garments and designs. Each piece blends experimentation, style, and functionality, reflecting my approach to fashion as both a form of self-expression and a way to reimagine materials.

JEMA is a space for creativity, sustainability, and exploration. Every transformation — from old fabric to finished garment — celebrates originality, freedom, and the joy of making something entirely new. Though still a relatively new project, it embodies curiosity, innovation, and the endless possibilities of rethinking fashion.
