Remade by Gentmade

During my internship, I worked on developing a collection for a second-hand store using garments from the leftover stream. My tasks included building the collection, creating the labeling, and conducting market research to better understand the target audience and market positioning.

As the company is not a fashion-oriented business, I developed criteria sheets and tech packs for each garment. This helped to bring structure to the process and ensured consistency and clear documentation throughout the collection development.

This internship allowed me to gain experience in sustainable fashion, upcycling, and product development. It also helped me improve my research, communication, and organizational skills while working in a professional environment.

Reflecting

One of the main challenges during my internship was managing and researching everything independently. It required a lot of organization, problem-solving, and self-discipline throughout the entire process.

At the same time, this experience was very valuable because it allowed me to apply the knowledge and skills I developed during the past years of my studies in a professional environment. Overall, the internship was a positive learning experience that helped me grow both personally and professionally.
